Ron Henry in Mexico
We followed Ron Henry through the streets of Sayulita and San Francisco Mexico as he shoots for a collection of photos of Mexican dogs. We also managed to capture a bit of the awesome beauty of the locations, and it makes us wish we were there now!

R-Strap Wins 2010 Hot One Award
Professional Photographer Magazine has given the R-Strap a 2010 Hot One Award! We’re very honored to be recognized like this, and we promise to live up to it in the year to come. The 2010 winners will be announced on their website in the coming months, and will be featured in an upcoming issue.

R-Photographers Photo Contest
It’s the last month of the R-Photographers Photo Contest! We’ve had some awesome entries so far, and it’s going to be no easy task choosing the winners. David duChemin @ Studio R
For those of you who don’t know, David duChemin is “a Vancouver-based freelance humanitarian and world photographer. An unashamed do-gooder, David uses his powers for good and not for evil.” He has a book out right now, “Within The Frame” and will soon be coming out with a new book, “VisionMongers, Making a Life and a Living in Photography.”
We’ll be hosting David at Studio R on September 4th, 2009. He is going to be giving a talk and doing some meet-and-greet stuff, so stop by if you’d like to meet him! Space for the talk is limited (and almost completely spoken for) but everyone is welcome to come by and say hi.
