What is your Return Policy?

For purchases made on BLACKRAPID.com: We value customer satisfaction and want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied we will gladly process your return. Please fill out the RMA Form and return it with your order within 30 days of purchase. Please contact customerrelations@blackrapid.com if you have any questions.

For purchases made through third-party retailers: Return policies vary from retailer to retailer, please contact the store where your product was purchased for more information on their specific return policy. Please note that BLACKRAPID cannot process a return for a product not purchased on BLACKRAPID.com.

What is the warranty of my BLACKRAPID product?

We guarantee the quality of all BLACKRAPID Products. We offer a one-year warranty against craftsmanship defects on our Camera Straps, Bags and Accessories; 6 months on the smartphone TetheR Tab (sold separately and as part of the WandeR Bundle).

The use of any non-genuine parts or accessories from other brands could cause damage to the ConnectR or FastenR and voids the warranty. Please ensure that you are using only genuine BLACKRAPID parts and accessories.

Please note that Black Rapid, Inc. is not responsible for damage to equipment or injury related to the purchase and/or use of any of our products.

What is Not Covered?

Damage due to normal wear and tear; damage caused by lack of care, mishandling, accident, or abuse; damage caused by use of the product for other than its intended purpose; damage caused by improper or unauthorized repair or maintenance of the product; damage to a product that has been modified or altered; and damage to any cameras, equipment, or personal property used in conjunction with the product.

How Do I Make a Claim Under This Warranty?

We will gladly exchange your product with a copy of the original receipt. Do not dispose of the defective product prior to contacting us. We will need the defective product and all original parts in order to process your claim.

What is Wear and Tear and How Do I Prevent It?

Wear and tear is damage that naturally and inevitably occurs over time as a result of normal use or aging. It is not considered a craftsmanship defect and is therefore not covered under warranty. As with all photography gear and equipment, camera straps and hardware need to be routinely inspected and upgraded periodically.

It is the responsibility of the camera owner to check the integrity of their gear regularly and ensure that all hardware is properly installed. Several safety accessories and replacement parts are available, such as the Camera Safety TetheR, to protect your equipment from any possible damage.

What if My Strap Has a Lot of Wear or Has Already Broken?

Our solution to wear and tear is our Trade-In Program, which allows you to trade-in your old straps whose one-year warranties have expired, or a sling style strap from another brand. This program offers you a new strap from our current line at a discounted price.
