The Hunt!
A couple of years back, our snowcoach was the first one along the Madison and the Firehole Rivers one morning. As we came around a bend, two black wolves were nonchalantly lounging in the road.
We exited the snowcoach and as we were working the wolves, I looked down the river and saw a bison standing in the river with two wolves in front of it on the bank. The pack worked this bison from the time we arrived (around 7:30 am) and was still working it when we left (around 5:30 pm).
