Jose Gegúndez is an editorial and commercial photographer specializing in royalty and entertainment. Based in Madrid, he works as a freelance photographer for international media. Although he began his career as a video operator, his passion for photography has always been present and deepened after watching Under Fire, a film about a war photojournalist.

His work is regularly published in Vanitatis, Mujer Hoy, and Semanain Spain, as well as in Gala in France, where he collaborates closely with Marion Rouyer, head of the royalty section. He also contributes to prestigious international media outlets such as Paris Match, Bunte, Die Welt, Bild, The Times, and People, along with numerous online platforms. In addition to photography, he produces video content for social media.

His gear includes Sony Alpha 1 and Sony Alpha 7RV cameras, along with a wide range of lenses from Sony Spain and Sigma Photo Spain, covering focal lengths from 14mm to 600mm. He works with Profoto A10 flashes and various lighting accessories, collaborating as a Profoto Photographer since 2022. For editing and image management, he uses PhotoMechanic by CameraBits and Capture One Pro on both his Mac and iPad Pro.

In 2012, he partnered with Robert Smith to offer an exclusive and carefully curated photography service under the Limited Pictures project. His images have been published in the world’s most renowned magazines, leading him to collaborate with top-tier image agencies worldwide.
