This one is “in the wild” twice.
Maureen Armstrong photographs America’s wild horses — family bands, dust, and the kind of moments you only get if you don’t hesitate. The new “In the Wild” postcard shows that world: horses living free on the range. Behind those frames is a photographer who has carried a BLACKRAPID strap for more than 15 years, from Division I sidelines to open country in places like Salt Wells, Wyoming.

When a herd moves, you don’t get a second chance. Maureen shoots a Nikon Z8 with a 500mm and a 70–200, camera on a BLACKRAPID Sport sling, ready to lift and shoot. She has been close enough to feel a stampede change direction at the last second. The lesson she still gives: stay aware of what’s coming from behind you, not just what’s in the viewfinder.
That’s the work the postcard is pointing to — wild horses, and a photographer working out there with them.
