One piece of advice for someone at the beginning stages of their photography career: Master your camera, quit worrying about how many megapixels you have, master your fieldcraft, your subjects and scene will appreciate it and master your post processing, your images will reflect it.
How do you “Live The Moment”: I make sure that both experience and capturing visually compelling images go hand-in-hand. If you have an experience with no images, that is not photography. Capturing images without an experience is a sterile endeavor. You need both.
