Do you have a good tip to share with us?

Try to be fully in the moment while shooting. To do this, prepare your equipment and your mind very well before the shoot. Be ready for everything but when the time comes for the shoot, let things go in a creative flow. Trust your instincts.

Photographer Workouts!!

I had been following a top swimming team, Energy Standard prepare for the Olympic Games for over two years. One day as I ran around shooting the team with my heavy equipment, the strength coach Marco Cosso, took notice of all the different positions I would get myself into while trying to capture the swimmers in action.

This inspired Marco to come up with specific workouts for action sports photographers. How amazing to have one of the top strength & conditioning coaches in the world, come up with ways we can move better, so we can photograph better.

We should even include some BR straps to the workouts next time! I have some of these workouts saved on my instagram highlights, under ”photo workouts”.
