Bobbie Photography – Events & Festivals
I’m Bobbie, an event and festival photographer from the Netherlands with over 8 years of experience behind the camera. What started as a passion for photography and festivals has grown into a career where I capture the energy, atmosphere, and emotion of live events.
From intimate events to massive festivals, I love telling stories through my images and creating visuals that bring people right back into the moment.

Do You Have a Good Photography Tip for Us?
Struggling to shoot pyro or fireworks? Slightly underexpose your shots so you can brighten them in post without blowing out the highlights.

Flying Over the Dominator Mainstage
Dominator is the world’s largest outdoor hardcore festival, and at this event, nothing is too crazy.
Last year, there was a zipline that allowed you to fly over the crowd at the main stage (definitely not for those afraid of heights). As part of the media team, we wanted to capture a POV-style shot from the zipline, showing both your feet and the massive crowd below. So I decided to go for it myself.
It resulted in some funny shots (including my slightly terrified face), but also some really unique images!
Luckily, I didn’t have to worry about dropping my camera: it was safely secured to my BLACKRAPID camera harness.

What’s in Your Bag?
Alongside my two Sony A7 IV bodies, I carry a variety of lenses and accessories. Think of a monopod for elevated shots, a remote trigger for shooting with the monopod, SD cards and card readers, cleaning cloths, and of course my BLACKRAPID Double Breathe harness: something I haven’t been able to work without for the past 8 years.
Especially at festivals where you need to switch quickly, my BLACKRAPID dual harness is an absolute must-have for me.
My go-to lenses are the Sony FE 70–200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II and the Sigma 15mm f/1.4 DG DN Diagonal Fisheye.
