Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I grew up playing hockey and soccer but loving all sports.

Well over 20 years ago I picked up my first camera and gravitated to sports. Still based out of St. Louis, Missouri, I cover sporting/action events and I still love it. My favorite sports to cover are lacrosse, and ice hockey.

Do You Have a Good Photography Tip for Us?

Taking a blurred picture of the ice in hockey and using that to set you custom white balance.

Photoshoot experience other photographers would love to read: Way back in 2009, I was asked to photograph a Pee Wee hockey team getting ready for the prestigious Quebec tournament.

As fate would have it 6 of the players on that single team would go on to play in the NHL, with 5 of them being drafted in the First Round.
