CyclingImages – Cycling Photography

I always try to create artistic images that capture the emotion as well as the action in the events and races that I attend. I want you to be able to view my images and feel like you were there yourselves and even more I want people to hang my images on their walls.

Do You Have a Good Photography Tip for Us?
Don’t be afraid to try something new, a new angle and new perspective, try to be different.
Photographing the Paris Roubaix Race on a Motorcycle
Every year I shoot the Paris Roubaix race in Northern France. It is a race that includes around 60kms of cobbled roads, and I cover the race from the back of a motorbike! I ride on the same crazy cobbles as the riders in the race!
It’s always a frantic day with non-stop action – from the moment we start until the race finishes in an old historic velodrome in Roubaix. I’m constantly jumping on and off the motorcycle at various shooting locations, and then shoot photographs quickly. It all happens within moments – maybe even seconds.
I always have two Z8’s on my BLACKRAPID straps so that I don’t have to worry about dropping them as we speed along with the race with my cameras bouncing off the side of the moto !!!
